Level by level
Stone Mask goes up one level each time you pick it again on a level-up (a chest can also give it a level), up to level 5. Nothing else levels it up: other passives never do. The table shows what it gives in all at each level.

Evolves
Stone Mask can be at any level: only the weapon marked MAX has to be maxed.
Other things that change Gold
These do not level up Stone Mask. Each one adds its own bonus to Gold, and the game adds every bonus together. For example, Stone Mask at level 5 (+50%) + Greed at rank 5 (+50%) = +100% Gold.
